Ingoshima is a disgusting and horrible manga, but it works because even if you feel like throwing up during some scenes, you never do. The credit for all of this goes to Mesuko Amashita, who created such an engrossing story that makes you want to know how the story will end and if the protagonists will manage to escape the island while saving as many people as possible. There are some of the most revolting sights I've ever seen, and they're rape scenes, which made me very nauseous, but Mesuko's aims, and he accomplished it in a divine manner. Another aspect of this book that I adored was the character design and overall design; in this situation, I have to applaud Tanaka Yoshiki's talent.
